David Braithwaite

London: Hugh Evelyn, 1976 Cloth 195pp

Published as part of the Hugh Evelyn "Excursions into Architecture" series, this is highly regarded as one of the best books on the subject. Out of print and quite hard to find, although there are usually several copies available on AbeBooks (search for "Fairground Architecture") at prices from £25-£85 depending on edition and condition. Over 250 illustrations, scale plans and diagrams support studies on the rides, sideshows and transportation methods.
