Dooner's "New Empire" Show at Gloucester 1908

Update Received January 2003:
"The photograph on your site is of my great grandfathers show , of which I still have some bits about the house! His name was James Dooner and was married to Lizzie Hancock of West Country Show fame. The engine along side is 'The Prince of Wales" a Burrell 7hp no XC9695 . I believe this picture was taken about 1910.

They later moved on to South Wales and started a chain of cinemas. At the time they were also making their own films and I still have the camera and projector they used.
